cruel = good for hammer warriors (crushing blow, desperation blow)

ever ask yourself why you're dating her in the first place?

simple answer to this thread: something is expensive because fools ask high prices and bigger fools pay it. i sold a gold max vamp fellblade for 149 plat, and i picked it up while out capping healing hands. a fool and his money...

i have to completely disagree. after almost a year or of playing this i realized making gold is 100x easier then finding really nice items cuz theres so many ways to do it, so i dont think most things are overpriced at all..0nly these freakin unidentified bs for 100k+

Judges Insight is much better than sundering any day.

The best mod? Pay 10 g and have your weapon customized and get instantly +20% damage, no condition required.
But I do agree that for a 10/10 sundering mod, high cost is justified for its rarity, not for its quality.

Do you use any of the skills below?
Barbed (bleeding) = Seeking Blade, Sever Artery, Desperation Blow
Crippling (cripple) = Hamstring, Desperation Blow
Cruel (deep wound) = Axe Rake, Axe Twist, Dismember, Eviscerate, Swift Chop, Gash, Desperation Blow
I agree, but...Desperation Blow? Why would anyone use that?

5 energy to bleed, cripple, weakness, or deep wound. yeah who would ever want to use that?

1 hammer bash + crushing blow = deep wound
2 desperation blow = bleeding crippled weakness (any would be good)
3 dwarven battle stance = interrupt any healing/condition spells

People spend their life savings on sundering and fortiude's because they like numbers.

"WOW with this +30hp and my +45 shield i have xxx health. THAT IS SO MUCH IM GONNA LIVE FOREVER!!" says nub

"Oh yeah. well how much u pay for both of them?" says smart person

"about 200k. that shield was expensive." says nub

The 2 warriors go out into battle together as the nub is eager to try out his new gear that cost him an arm and a leg

"WTF WTF WTF OMG OMG OMG HOW DID I DIE SO FAST" says nub

"WHY ARNT U DEAD YET" says nub

"I have the extra 5 armor which if you do the math is better than you extra hp" says smart person

I would assume it will go something like that and one will run away screaming and kicking

come on... you talk like its "life savings" and such... I totally agree that the effect are kinda useless but when its the best the game can offer... hmm then ~50-100k aint that overrated

In general I think most upgrades dont make that big a difference... and thats perfect... GW is about player skills =)

So I totally agree with Marauder:

Combo Balanced Stance with Desperation Blow and you can get off 3 Desperation Blows without falling down (if yer Tactics is high enough). 1-3 added conditions, extra damage for each hit, and a good setup for Victory is Mine.

lol, funny you say that. I was killed once with a Desperation Blow. It was rather funny actually, who'd knock themselves down on someone who is dead anyway? lol They probably used it for more of a "fatality" victory.
